James C. Suozzo is a 1987 graduate of Rutgers College and received his juris doctorate from University of Georgia School of Law in1995.  After practicing in Atlanta for a litigation firm, Jim returned to New Jersey and joined the Law Offices of Robert J. McGuirl as an associate in 1998.  He is a graduate of the American Inns of Court, a two-year training program for litigation attorneys.  Jim concentrates on civil litigation matters, including products liability cases and the defense of medical device manufacturers.  He has also represented physicians in transactional and contractual matters.

On behalf of various state and county bar organizations Jim has lectured on a variety of topics including products liability, courtroom technology, analyzing medical records, and negotiation.  He currently serves as co-chairman of the Products Liability Committee of the Bergen County Bar Association, and has held other leadership roles in that organization.  Jim appears in the federal and state courts of New Jersey, and has been admitted pro hac vice in neighboring states on a case by case basis.
